     Jacob A. Kepler was born in July 1810.1 He married Christina Hershberger, daughter of Johannes Hershberger and Christina Elizabeth Fehler, on 5 July 1832 in Stark County, Ohio.1 He died on 2 April 1871 in East Liberty, Green Township, Summit County, Ohio, at age 60.1 He was buried in East Liberty.1

     John George Fehler was known as George Faler.2 He served as a private in the infantry, 2nd Regiment of the Pennsylvania Militia, under the command of Lt. Col. Adam Richards during the War of 1812. He fought at the Battle of Balitmore.2
