Daniel Lewis
Mohnkern was a carpenter by trade, living in Siverly, Cornplanter Township, Venango County, Pennsylvania. He was later employed by Standard Oil Company for 23 years during which time he did consideralbe construction work, at times having charge of as many as five hundred men. He had supervision of the construction work when the refinery at Whiting, Indiana was built.
