     Joseph T. Heckathorn was born on 23 November 1874 in Ten Mile Bottom, Cranberry Township, Venango County, Pennsylvania.1,3 He was the son of John K. Heckathorn and Elizabeth Reese.1,3 He married Luella Rhoades.2 He died on 21 March 1945 in Oil City, Venango County, Pennsylvania, at age 70.1 He was buried in Heckathorn Cemetery, Cranberry Township.1
