Smith, daughter of Ephraim Smith and Adeline Horton, on 1 August 1901 in Muscatine, Iowa.4,5 He died on 14 December 1925 in Moline, Rock Island County, Illinois, at age 66.6 He was buried in Moline Riverside Cemetery, Moline.6
     James Reese was living in Rock Island County, Illinois, circa 1898 when his father's property was sold.7 He was living in Indian Territory oil fields (Oklahoma) in 1906 when his brother Robert died.8 He and Luella M. Smith lived in Moline, Rock Island County, Illinois, where James worked as a laborer.9,10 He was living in Illinois in 1921 when his brother Samuel died.11 He and Luella M. Smith probably had no children.5
