     Pearl Roselle Melat was employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad at the Big Rock and River Ridge Station for 16 years.2

     Dora Viola Siebert was born on 24 November 1880 in Buffalo, New York.1 She was the daughter of Casper Siebert and Laura Belle Melat.1 She married Frans E. Long on 3 June 1903 in Franklin.1 She married Ray Salsburg on 14 November 1912 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.1 She died on 31 October 1966 in Franklin, Venango County, at age 85.1 She was buried in Franklin Cemetery, Sugarcreek Borough.1
     Dora met Ray, a vaudeville performer while he was in Franklin to playing with "The Four Dancing Lubins" at the Opera House. For a number ofyears she traveled with the vaudeville troupe which her husband headed and she helped with work backstage. After he left show business, they spent a year in New Mexico where they had a ranch. Then in Wheeling, West Virginia, they operated a theatrical hotel.1 Dora operated the Salsburg greenhouse, also known as "Doll House Gardens" for twenty-five years in Sugarcreek Township, Venango County.1 She had no children.
