     Adam Sanner moved with his father Ludwig to Hunterdon County, New Jersey, sometime after 1756.5,6
     Adam and Mary Sanner were among a list of Communicants of the Lutheran congregation in Greenwich Township, Sussex County, New Jersey, on 18 November 1774. They were again listed as communicates on 2 Dec 1780.4 He signed a petition as a "Freeholder and Inhabitant" in Mansfield Woodhouse, Sussex County, New Jersey, in 1783.7
     Adam and Mary moved from New Jersey along with members of Mary's family to Chilliisquaque Township, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania, by 1793 when they first appear on the Chillisquaque Township assessment lists.8 He moved from Chillisquaque Township to Point Township, Northumberland County, in 1799.9,10,11,12 Adam and his son Jacob were living in Shamokin Township, Northumberland County, in 1803. While Adam remained in Shamolkin Township, Jacob returned to Point Township by 1806.13,14,15,16 He was living in Augusta Township, Northumberland County, in 1810.17,18,19
     Adam Sanner possibly returned to Point Township by 1820 to live with his son Jacob. Adam could account for the second male over 45 years of age enumerated in Jacob's household in the 1820 census.      Georg Ludwig Sanner was born say 1725 likely in what is now Baden-Wurtteberg, Germany.1 He married Maria Eva Schramm on 23 September 1748 in Eberstadt, Neckar-Odenwald-Kreis, Baden-Wurtteberg, Germany.1,2
     Georg Ludwig Sanner was known as Ludwig Sanner.3
     Georg Ludwig Sanner was listed among the men who immigrated to America aboard the Ship Patience, arriving at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on 19 September 1749. While only men were listed, undoubtedly Ludwig's wife Maria Eva and other females and children were also aboard.4
     Ludwig Sanner appears on the tax lists for Mulberry Ward, Philadelphia, in 1754. He is listed as a barber. He also appears in the 1756 tax lists for Mulberry Ward.5,3
     Ludwig Sanner moved from Philadelphia to Hunterdon County, New Jersey, after 1756. However it is not clear if Ludwig lived for a short time in Easton, Northampton County, Pennsylvania where in 1759, he witnessed the will of Michael Somers of Eastown. Ludwig could have been living across the Delaware River in Hunterdon County at that time.6,7 In 1767 Ludwig was among the male members who signed the Church Order or Constitution for St. Paul's Church in Hunterdon County, New Jersey.7
     Ludwig's sons Adam, Ludwig, and Michael were living in Pennsylvania by around 1790. There are no known records to indicate that Ludwig was still living in 1790 or that he moved with his sons to Pennsylvania suggesting that he may have died in New Jersey.8,9,10,11,12
