     Sarah Wible was born on 22 March 1797 in Pennsylvania.1,2 She married John Heck, son of Philip Heck and Elizabeth Breiss, on 30 August 1814 in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.3,4 She died on 7 April 1881 in Rock Island County, Illinois, at age 84.1 She was buried in Rock River Cemetery, Moline, Rock Island County.5
     Sarah and John lived in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, until 1833 when they moved to Harrison County, Ohio. In 1844, the Heck family moved to Rock Island County, Illinois where John and Sarah lived the rest of their lives.4 She and John had thirteen children.2

     Johan Yost Heck was born circa 1698 in Germany.1 He married Eva Maria (?)1,2 He died in 1760 in Bern Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania.2
     
Research Note:

Johan Yost Heck appears to be the progenitor of the Heck family that lived in Bern Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania. Yost is the father of Catherine and Jacob who immigrated to Pennsylvania with him in 1733. He is also the father of Margaret according to her baptizmal record in 1739. While there is no documented proof of any other children it is likely that he was the father of John Heck of Allen Township, Cumberland County and of Philip Heck of Maiden Township, Berks County. Further Yost is likely the grandfather of Philip Heck of Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.

John Heck, who is likely a son of Yost, first appears on the Bern Township tax lists in 1767. He seems to have departed Bern Township and moved to Allen Township, Cumberland County around 1785. Evidence that John Heck of Bern Township and John Heck of Allen Township are likely the same person can be drawn from Philip Heck of Westmoreland County who lived in Bern Township until about 1789 and between 1792 and 1795 was living in Allen Township where John had settled. Philip moved to Westmoreland County by 1798.

Philip Heck who died in Maiden Creek Township, Berks County in 1808 is likely a son or possibly a grandson of Yost of Bern Township due to the fact that he appears on the Bern Township tax lists in 1767 as a single freeman. He continues to be listed with other members of the Yost's family in Bern Township until around 1786 when he moved to Maiden Creek Township.

According to most online trees, Philip Heck of Westmoreland County is the son of Yost's son Jacob and his wife Judith. While Jacob and Judith are the correct age and proximity to be Philip's parents, there is no proof of that relationship. Since Yost was likely the father of John Heck and Philip Heck, who also lived in Bern Township around the time that Philip of Westmoreland County was born, they must also be considered candidates to be Philip's father until additional evidence is found.3,2,4,5,6,7,8
     Johan Yost Heck was known as Yost Heck.
     Yost and Eva Maria Heck immigrated in 1733 to Pennsylvania from Germany with their daughter Catherina and son Jacob.1 He settled in Bern Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, by 1740. Bern Township became part of Berks County in 1752.9,10 He was naturalized on 11 April 1741 at Philadelphia.9
