Serfling was born on 16 June 1844 in Saxony.2,3 She married Adam Rudolph Mark, son of Henry Mark and Maria Gramley, on 24 July 1862 in Fillmore County, Minnesota.4 She died on 22 July 1897 in Bristol Township, Fillmore County, Minnesota, at age 53.3 She was buried in Bristol Center Cemetery, Bristol, Bristol Township.3
