     Charles Dale Walker moved from Crawford County to Benton Harbor, Berrien County, Michigan, in June 1917 where he and several members of his family joined the cult community known as the House of David.6 He was a street car conductor at the House of David in 1920, but Charles apparently left the colony and moved to Cleveland, Ohio where he met and married his wife Mary. He and Mary returned to Benton Harbor by 1930, but did not rejoin the House of David.4,7 He owned and operated the Phillips 66 Gas Station on Main Street in Benton Harbor.4,7

     Jackie E. Walker was born on 15 August 1939 in Crawford County, Pennsylvania.2,1,3 He was the son of Stewart Francis Walker and Dorothy (?)1 He married Julie Brocksopp circa 1978.4 He died on 1 August 2007 in Barker, Niagara County, New York, at age 67.3
     Jackie E. Walker was a machine operator at Owens Illinois in Brockport, New York and worked for over 20 years as a truck driver for Akzo Nobel in Burt New York. Jack was a proprietor of the Auction Block in Middleport, and after retiring, both he and his wife, Julie, spent their time breeding and raising quarter horses at their farm in Barker.4
