     Dan Moody Adcock served in the U.S. Army during World War II from 19 September 1944, to 26 June 1946, with Co. 122nd Infantry as a truck driver in the European Theater and in occupied Germany.² He was a truck driver for more than 45 years for Wales Transportation which later became Anderson's Trucking Company, retiring in 1992.²
