     Robert served as a member of the U.S. Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis aboard the aircraft carrier: U.S.S. WASP.¹

Cheers and Velma Katherine Burchfield.¹ She married Wayne Eugene McClelland on 14 August 1948.¹ She died on 14 November 2019 in Sugarcreek Borough, Venango County, Pennsylvania, at age 89.¹ She was buried in Center Methodist Cemetery, Raymilton, French Creek Township, Venango County, Pennsylvania.¹
