Michael H. Beatty was living in Franklin in 1905 working as a laborer when he married Bell Dille.9 He and Belle Beatty were living in Rockland Township, Venango County, in 1910 working Michael worked at odd jobs.10 He and Belle Beatty moved from Pennsylvania to Tulsa, Tulsa County, Oklahoma, by 1913 where Michael worked as an oil well pumper.11,12 He was living in Lakeside, Creek County, Oklahoma, in 1920 where he worked as a tool dresser in the oil fields.6
At the time of his death, Michael H. Beatty was living in Harlington, Texas, where he was an oil field worker. According to his death certificate, he was both widowed and divorced, perhaps a reference to the death of his first wife Bell and a divorce from his second wife Bertha. Also his death certificate records that he died of organic hearth disease in which alcohol was a contributing factor.8
