     Thomas Rees married Margaret Bowen, daughter of Henry Bowen and Jane Carter, in Pennsylvania.2 He died circa 1785 in Frederick County, Virginia.1
     Thomas Rees moved from Pennsylvania to Frederick County, Virginia.3 He purchased one half of a 448 acre parcel in Frederick County, Virginia, on 30 January 1743 from John Littler for The other half was purchased on the same day by Henry Bowen, who may have been Thomas' father-in-law.3 He and Margaret Bowen were Quakers, attending the Hopewell Meeting House near Wincester, Frederick County, Virginia.2
