Aaron Wilson Glenn was born in July 1856 in Pine Township, Indiana County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of Joseph J. Glenn and Mary Carner.1 He died unmarried on 20 September 1913 in Pine Township at age 57.2,3 He was buried in Bethesda Cemetery, Indiana County, Pennsylvania.4
Aaron Wilson Glenn was a farmer in Pine Township.1
Wilson, who was reportedly blind, was killed early Saturday morning when he was run over by a Cambria and Indiana Railroad train near Heilwood. It was reported that Wilson came to Indiana earlier that day (on Friday) and became intoxicated. He returned home on foot and became engaged in an arguement with another resident where he sustained a broken jaw and other bruises. He went to Glen Campbell to have his wounds dressed by a local physician. It was speculated in the local newspapers that later that night, under the influence of liquor, and not being sure of where he was going, he stepped on the railroad tracks and was run down by the train. The verdict was that the victim had come to his death while trespassing on railroad property.3
