     Oliver Blinberry was born in February 1867 in Venango County, Pennsylvania.1,3,4 He was the son of John Blinberry and Elizabeth Tarr.1,2 He was unmarried.5 He died on 24 May 1911 in Titusville, Crawford County, Pennsylvania, at age 44.5,6 He was buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Titusville, Crawford County.7
     Oliver Blinberry was seriously injuried in an oil lease accident in 1896 at Petroleum Centre, Cornplanter Township, Venango County, Pennsylvania. Oliver recieved a skull fracture when a boiler exploded and a value from the boiler hit him in the head. He was not expected to survive, but he lived another 15 years. Immediately following the accident, he was unable to speak. According to his obituary, he never recovered from the injury.8,5 He lived with his brother Samuel. He worked as a laborer in the oil fields and following the accident he was a laborer in Titusville.3,8,5 According to his obituary, Oliver died of meningitis as a result of sunstroke.5
