     Elmer Lloyd Davis was born on 22 September 1910 in Clinton Township, Venango County, Pennsylvania.2,1 He was the son of Homer Jackson Davis and Alice Katie Thomas.1 He married Mary Edith Cross on 23 June 1924.1 He married Elethea Kirwin.1 He died on 23 February 1988 in Franklin, Venango County, Pennsylvania, at age 77.1 He was buried in Hickory Grove Cemetery, Irwin Township, Venango County, Pennsylvania.1
     Elmer Lloyd Davis lived in Pearl, Irwin Township, Venango County, Pennsylvania, since 1948.1 He was employed by Amalie Refinery in the chill plant until the plant burned in 1970. He later worked as a custodian for the Franklin Area School District, retiring in 1974. He also worked in the oil fields of Venango County.1
