     Clement Edward Gallagher served in World War II, he served in the Army Air Corps. He did his basic training at Shepherd Field, Texas; he then furthered his training as an airplane mechanic and specialist training at Chanute, Ind. Attaining the rank of corporal, he served in Africa, Italy, China, Burma and India.² After his discharge he went with his brother Boyd to Alaska where he worked salmon fishing for a cannery. He then began working as a union structural iron worker building towers, radar installations and army barracks. After returning to the mainland he worked from Seattle to Baltimore and many points in between for 42 years. He retired in 1990.²

     Sarah Elizabeth Fike was born on 18 September 1931 in Pennsylvania.² She married Clement Edward Gallagher, son of Edward Lane Gallagher and Minnie Blanche Latchaw, on 4 April 1950 in Kennerdell, Rockland Township, Venango County, Pennsylvania.¹ She died on 16 November 2015 in UPMC Seneca, Cranberry Township, Venango County, Pennsylvania, at age 84.² She was buried in Melat Cemetery, Rockland Township, Venango County, Pennsylvania.²
