     Bella F. Smith was born on 15 December 1875 in Ashtabula, Ashtabula County, Ohio.1,2 She was the daughter of Charles F. Smith and Sarah Dreibelbis.2 She married John A. Hooper on 25 January 1891 in Limestone, Cattaraugus County, New York.3,4 She died on 7 August 1923 in Bradford, McKean County, Pennsylvania, at age 47.1,2 She was buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, Bradford, McKean County, Pennsylvania.2
     Bella F. Smith and John A. Hooper lived in Keating Township, McKean County, Pennsylvania, where John was an oil producer.4,5 She and John A. Hooper moved to Bradford, McKean County, Pennsylvania, by 1920.6,7
     Bella died as a result of injuries she sustain in an automobile accident. According to the newspaper account, Belle, who was driving a "Stanley Steamer machine" stopped to allow her daughter Elsie to get into another car driven by her son Albert. When she started the Stanley Steamer to resume the trip, it began to roll backwards. Alarmed, Bella jumped out and fell beneath the car which ran over her. She died on internal injuries shortly after at Bradford Hospital.1,2

     Samuel Oliver Dreibelbis was born on 31 July 1859 in Cranberry Township, Venango County, Pennsylvania.2,3,1 He was the son of Moses A. Dreibelbis and Mary Ann Engle.1 He married Kathryn Wise circa 1881.4 He and Kathryn Wise were divorced in 1886 in Smethport, McKean County, Pennsylvania.4 He married Emma Lulu Murry on 24 July 1889 in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.2 He died circa 1918 in Kanawha County, West Virginia.5,1
     Samuel Oliver Dreibelbis was known as Oliver. Samuel and Emma had seven children, three of whom died as infants.6 He and Emma Lulu Murry were living in Walton, Roane County, West Virginia, in 1910.7 He was an oil well driller.7,2,3
     Records show that Olive Amsdell was raised as the daughter of Nelson Amsdell and Kathryn Wise. Since Kathryn was married to Samuel Oliver Dreibelbis at the time Olive was born, it is the opinion of this researcher that Olive was the biological daughter of Samuel Oliver Dreibelbis, but raised by Nelson Amsdell as his own daughter.8,4

     Emma Lulu Murry was born on 15 July 1865 in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.4 She married Samuel Oliver Dreibelbis, son of Moses A. Dreibelbis and Mary Ann Engle, on 24 July 1889 in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.4 She died on 1 September 1912 in Charleston, West Virginia, at age 47.5
