     Robert B. Rogers served in the 121st Pennsylvania Volunteers during the Civil War. Rifenberg lived in Jackson Township, Venango County, Pennsylvania, where Robert was a farmer.4,9
     Robert was widely known as a teacher of vocal music and was leader of singing in the United Brethern Church in Canal Township.4

     According to her obituary, the "fates were unkind" to Nancy. Her first husband John Nelson was thrown from a horse and died while training for service in the Civil War leaving her with four young children. Her second husband Michael Keas was killed in a runaway accident. Six years before her death she was stricken blind and was bed ridden the last two months of her life. However, her obituary states that she enjoyed a wide circle of friends and was a loving mother, a good neighbor and a fine Christian woman.6

     According to his death certificate, David was the son of David Roggers [sic] and Nancy Calhoun. The information was provided by David's son Edd.9
     David M. Rogers Jr. moved from Pennsylvania to Stockbridge, Ingham County, Michigan, by 1870.10 He settled in Lebanon Township, Clinton County, Michigan, by 1880 where David was a farmer.11,5

Rodgers and Emma Ault were living in Canal Township, Venango County, Pennsylvania, in 1880 where Aaron was a farm laborer.6 He and Emma Ault moved to Franklin, Venango County, Pennsylvania, by 1900 where Aaron was a laborer at odd jobs.4,7 He moved to Cochranton, Crawford County, Pennsylvania, by 1920 where he worked in a grist mill.8,9 Aaron D.
