     Fred Obert Fralick was born on 19 December 1891 in Spartansburg, Crawford County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of Ellis Fralick and Della Obert.2 He married Lela Thomas, daughter of Velorous Eddy Thomas and Hettie Tipton, on 23 December 1913 in Mayville, Chautauqua County, New York.2 He married Margaret Magee in September 1952.3 He died on 13 October 1964 in Oil City, Venango County, Pennsylvania, at age 72.3 He was buried in Calvary Cemetery, Oil City.3
     Fred Obert Fralick worked for the railroads. He began his career on 25 Aug 1911 for the New York Central Railroad out of Toledo, Ohio. He then became a brakeman for the Pennyslvania Railroad. He was transfered to the Oil City yard as a switchman on 23 October 1913. He was soon promoted to conductor and worked in that position until his retirement in January 1958.3
