     Isabella Catherine Dunmire was born on 7 December 1832 in Mifflin County, Pennsylvania.1 She was the daughter of Michael Dunmire and Mary Carney.1 She was still living in 1900 when when she was living with her sister Mary Pierce.2,3 She died on 31 March 1910 in County Home, Piney Township, Clarion County, Pennsylvania, at age 77.4 She was buried in Fisher, Millcreek Township, Clarion County, Pennsylvania.4
     Isabella Catherine Dunmire was bequeathed $200 in the will left by Andrew Carney dated 1855.5 She was apparenlty mentally handicapped and unable to take care for herself. She was living with her brother Henry in 1870. In the 1880 census, she was living with her parents and described as "an idiot" and could not read or wite. By 1886 she was living with her sister Mary Piece who requested aid in support of Isabella based on the Civil War service of their brother David. The request was denied.6,7,8
