     Matthew Morrison was born on 14 November 1863 in Hamilton Township, McKean County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of Zephaniah Morrison and Hannah Marie Northrop.1 He married Adaline A. Northrup, daughter of Lyman Northrup and Sally Ann (?), circa 1891.2 He died on 7 October 1948 in Grants Pass, Josephine County, Oregon, at age 84.3 He was buried in Sparlin Cemetery, Williams, Josephine County, Oregon.4
     Matthew Morrison and Adaline A. Northrup were living in Nehalem, Tillamook County, Oregon, in 1900 where Matthew operated a livestock farm.2 He and Adaline A. Northrup were living in Williams, Josephine County, Oregon, in 1910 where Matthew was a farmer.5
